“We all feel that we suffer alone, but actually even in suffering we are together” -- Anonymous.
They say that when the going gets tough the tough get going, and the year 2020, has brought to the forefront a lot of change makers who are driving the change. The entire year has been shadowed with the dark lights of the pandemic, and first and foremost we at AWL hope and wish that all our partners and their family members are keeping safe and healthy.
The last few months have seen us battling through the most uncertain times and coming face to face with a lot of trends that will be the new normal. At troubled times like these, it was nothing short of a miracle to see people coming together and providing support tirelessly. When our healthcare logistics services team was charging ahead as the frontier leaders, organizations came together to provide relentless support to end customers.
During the time of crisis, there are two ways of going about things. One is focusing on the crisis itself and the other is coming up with new possibilities to survive the crisis to emerge as winners. At AWL, it meant coping with the new normal of remote working, and so far it has only helped us scale new heights. During these months we have had in place a specific crisis management team that ensured that no matter what, the work went on smoothly.
As a logistics and supply chain management company the real challenge for us what to up our game and ensure that irrespective of the lockdown and other issues, we educated our drivers and front-line workers about the new ways of working and keep them motivated at all times. We innovated our ways of working by coming up with new ways of keeping the cargo moving and took the help of technology and AI for the same.
When times could have actually resulted in chaos, we came up with ways of easing it and surviving it. Keeping the safety and security of our staff became a priority nonetheless, and we equipped our front line workers with all the protective gear that they needed. Over the last few months, we have realised that crisis calls for change, and if handled carefully, most of the times these changes bring about a positive attitude as well.
At AWL, we commit to helping our front line warriors by lending them support in the best way that we can. To emerge victoriously against the pandemic, we all need to be in it together.
